To make the season planning easier for you and me, I have leafed through calendars and inspected maps. I should have found most public holidays in Geneva, and plan the following rides and trips. That doesn’t mean that I won’t ride on other dates, but that might be a bit more spontaneous.

On these trips we stay in one location for several nights (hotel or holiday apartment) and do several rides from there. Contact me if interested or add yourself to the respective WhatsApp planning group below.

10 Stages in the Pyrenees

Cycling a week or a bit longer, with a support vehicle, has grown for me out of a group of friends, originally mostly from northern Germany. As the trip is considerably longer than the others, and will likely be my only proper holiday this year, it is kind of invitation only – send me a message if you are interested, and we can talk through the details.
For 2025, I put a route in the eastern half of the Pyrenees together. Most stages can be shortened, two examples for that are in the collection.
The start for 10 Stages is in Girona. Reachable by plane with Ryanair and Jet2 (Paderborn, Memmingen, Nürnberg, most UK airports), or via Barcelona from most other airports. There is an option to join for 8 Stages in Puigcerdà, the town is reachable from Toulouse by train. The finish in Pau is well-connected to the Toulouse airport. I would offer to drive a support vehicle there and back from Geneva, during the trip we would either take turns or bring a +1 as driver along.
July 3: Travel to Girona via Barcelona or Girona Airport, Prologue
July 4: Stage 1
July 5: Stage 2, option to join in Puigcerda (flight to Toulouse, train to Latour-de-Carol-Enveitg)
July 6-13: Stages 3-10
July 14: travel back from Toulouse

The Inferno Series Events are the only rides on this page which I won’t ride myself (but I lead the organisation). All events are fully supported, with hotel accommodation, all meals, luggage transport etc. Have a look at www.infernoseries.com for more details & registrations!
